Assuredly, The Vampire Diaries fame, Ian Homelander will turn up in season 2 as Dr Luther Swann along with Andrian Holmes as his friend, Micheal Fayne, an influential vampiric leader. Are they powerful enough to survive vampire bites of will they stake through the heart? Peter Outerbridge, Laura Vandervoort and Kyle Breitkopf may also return.

V Wars starts with an event of an outbreak where humans turn into vampires, including Dr Luther Wanns best friend, Micheal Fayne. The whole incidence disintegrates the society into two opposing factions. Ian Somerhalder told IANS that they are keen to introduce two new Indians next season. He said: Going into season two, we will get to explore characters that we are excited about. The two Indian characters will share a bonding of father and a daughter.

The adaptation of V Wars comic book will presumably be continued from where the first season left us. If the series adapts the second anthology Blood and Fire, that discomforted harmony between blood-sucking vampires and humans will be destroyed, and the vampire will seize the whole world once more.

Irrespectively, expect more of Ian Homlander and gory blood-sucking predators.
