V-Wars : what series is it from a show vampire original ? – The Saxon

After Vampire Diaries, True Blood and even Buffy the Vampire slayer, Netflix decided in early December to revive the trend vampiric with V-Wars. If the kind has not been enough to make us shudder in recent years, it might well be with the show created by Glenn Davis and William Laurin and adapted from the novels namesake of Jonathan Maberry, you have found a format that is original and innovative. Recalling the B series, V-Wars, has many ambitions. Although the series has similarities with The Vampire Diaries, in that it brings together all the two Ian Somerhalder, the series has the merit of offering something new, away from the show vampiric that it was given to us to see.

The new breed of vampires in V-Wars.

First of all, the series offers a new interpretation and adaptation of the original creatures sucking blood. Here, V-Wars does not repeat the myths, the most well-known around vampires, but speaks more of a terrifying virus, away in the arctic ice and released by researchers. If this is reminiscent of the plot of the movies and series of science-fiction cult, the series has at least the merit of change the origins of the mythology and adapts it here in a new way, never before seen on the small screen. Once released, the active agent is a genetically modified and that in a few hours, some humans now called the Bloods who must drink blood to survive. Nevertheless, these contaminated will retain a large part of humanity, while the Government tries to stem the epidemic of increasing.

Ian Somerhalder is the Dr. Luther Swann in V-Wars.

Real metaphor of a virus to a time when a challenge of health and climate is increasingly important and difficult to ignore, V-Wars about it superimposes the myth of the vampire. This is the reason which founds the originality of the series. Added to this, the global problems posed by the series : how the human race cannot coexist with another species ? If this objective is to question the notion of living together, V-Wars also offers its dose of hemoglobin as well as plans scary well mounted. Although the series has flaws, in the dialogues, or the fact of limited resources, it has the merit of having some intentions scriptwriting, that if Netflix had added a hint of promo would have given you a concept marking the end of the year !
