The CW classic supernatural series The Vampire Diaries is full of diverse and unique characters. Who would you be, based on your birthday month?
The characters of The Vampire Diaries are dynamic and varied, with a lot of complex development and character traits that defined their arcs throughout the seasons.

The characterizations of the TVD cast or characters are actually so varied that each one of them seems to be an apt representation of the different months of the year. So which The Vampire Diaries character are you, based on your birthday month?
Those born in the month of January are people of strong discipline, morality, and family values. They're known for being pretty prickly and inscrutable on the outside, but once they've brought someone into their inner circle, they are the loyalest of loyal.
Like Alaric Saltzman, if someone in the orbit of a January baby is hurt, their loved one will not stop until they've either helped that person or until they've gotten justice for the person who's been wronged.
Those born in February are known for being independent thinkers, and they have quite a passion for humanity as well.
Although Tyler Lockwood might not look like an artistic humanitarian on the surface, he is really the only person in the Mystic Falls gang who had any mind for issues greater than survival. Tyler broke free of Klaus' sire bond, and he used that freedom to free the other hybrids who had been enslaved.
Those born in March are often known for their mysticism, so of course the month couldn't be represented by anyone besides Bonnie Bennett.
They are also known for being very compassionate and wise, which are two personality traits that Bonnie consistently displayed, despite being surrounded by people who often times overlooked their value.
Those born in April are always trailblazers, and that certainly fits the description of Klaus Mikaelson. An April baby is also someone who focuses on action and likes to get things done, which again matches Klaus very well.
They're certainly a clever bunch, but they can let their passions get ahead of them, and that passionate nature can sometimes be their downfall.
On the surface, most people born in May look low key. But appearances can be misleading. May birthdays are people who are perfectly content as long as things are going their way, but it's pretty much impossible to get them to adjust to what other people want.
They often times know best, but they think that they always do, and they're extremely set in their ways, just like Stefan.
June babies are born social butterflies who can talk faster than most people can think. They tend to be more intellectually focused than emotionally focused though, so sometimes they can come across as inconsiderate when they really do mean well.
They're also flexible, and they know how to show which aspects of themselves to which people at the right time, just like Caroline Forbes does.
Like Jeremy Gilbert, the typical person born in July can seem pretty crabby on the surface. But beneath that surface is an incredibly caring, emotional, and family-oriented individual, once again just like Jeremy.
They can be hard to get to know, but once any July baby has been won over, then they'll be loyal until the bitter end.
Most people born in August can strike people as arrogant, but to be honest, in most instances that arrogance is well earned. They can be aggressive and hot tempered, and often times their pride gets in the way of them doing what they might actually want to do or know that they should do.

Damon Salvatore is a pretty perfect representation of the best and worst aspects of those born in August.
September birthdays are typically very practical people, and although they tend towards shyness and have a reserved demeanor, often times their true and pure hearts show through, much like Elena Gilbert.
Sometimes they might seem like they're almost foolishly idealistic, but that usually isn't the case. Even if they've been mistreated and burned by others before, they try not to let that get to them, instead choosing to cleave to their ideals regardless of what others think or do.
Those born in October are typically very well liked, and it's easy to see why. Like Matt Donovan, they're generally very kind individuals who aren't naturally aggressive, but have a very strong sense of morality and justice.

They also like balance and fairness, so they will avoid confrontation if they can, however if someone or something else is throwing their world out of balance then they won't hesitate to face the problem head on.
November birthdays are often considered to be mysterious and dangerous, and it's easy to see why. While they are very emotional, they are excellent at hiding their emotions from others.
Once they've been crossed, they never forget the slight against them, and it doesn't matter how long it takes to exact their own personal brand of justice, they'll get their revenge in time. And that sounds strikingly similar to Katherine Pierce.
December babies are typically jovial, but they can be quite feisty as well.
Much like Enzo, those born in December are not to be messed with, but they also know how to move on from those who have wronged them. They will fight back against their enemies and get vengeance when it is called for, but mistreatment from others can't change their happy-go-lucky personality.
