The idea of dragging vampirism into the sacred confines of the domestic world isnt a new one. 70s exploitation faveGrave of the Vampire told the tale of a boy born of vampire rape who is now half ghoul and searching for his bloodsucking birth father, a similar riff to that of Marvel Comics Blade character. Paul Solets 2009 chiller Grace also played with the idea of a child born with hankering for mothers blood, not mothers milk. And now, we can add writer/director Tommy Stovalls horror drama Aarons Blood to this list. Its the story of a regular Joe father coming to terms with the fact that his only child is morphing into an undead wraith. The film stars James Martinez, Trevor Stovall, Farah White and Michael Chieffo.

Synopsis: Aaron copes with his new life as a single father and the distant relationship he shares with his only child Tate. A timid hemophiliac, Tate is roughed up at school by the chief bully causing a massive nosebleed that lands him in the hospital fighting for his life. He makes a miraculous recovery after a necessary blood transfusion, but Aaron begins to notice progressively strange behaviors in his son. Faced with the grim possibility that his son could be becoming a vampire, Aaron enlists the help of a local vampire hunter and embarks on a frantic search to find the source of the infection to stop the transformation before its too late.

Aarons Blood is prepped for a limited theatrical release on June 2nd, which will be followed by a DVD, Blu-ray, On Demand and Digital HD premiere on June 6th and we want to give our readers the chance to win a copy of the film on Blu-ray (SLP $24.99).
