THE Leader asked for your selfies with a celebrity, and you havent disappointed.

Dozens of you have shared your moments with a famous face, covering the worlds of sport and music, and in this age of the selfie, so many of you have been lucky enough to have a snap with a celebrity.

From comic cons, random run-ins or organised events, we would love to hear about your encounters with famous people.

Lauren Hopwood, from Rhosllanerchrugog, met presenter/comedian Karl Pilkington, star of An Idiot Abroad, at Manchester 2014: "Myself and two friends went to meet Karl at a book-signing and also asked him to sign our tattoos of his face that two of us had done previously. Best day ever!"

Janine Martin, from Wrexham, met actor Kiefer Sutherland at Wales Comin Con, 2019: "Kiefer is my favourite actor of all time, so I had to meet him. He walked into main hall at comic con and I was totally fangirling! When it was my turn to met him I couldn't speak and the like an idiot I starting crying (I'm 42!) he leaned over the table and gave me a huge hug and kiss, and signed my anniversary edition of Lost Boys. Total Gentleman."

Rebecca Griffiths, from Gwersyllt, shared this photo of her late mum Irene Griffiths and friend Lorraine Shaw meeting darts player Phil Taylor during an exhibition at Gwersyllt Working Men's Club in the 90s.

Rhian Williams, from Mold, met TV personality Kim Woodburn at Mold Carnival in 2017, while working as a volunteer.

Holly Cousins, from Wrexham, met actor Jamie Lomas at Oswestry Truck Show in 2015: "I went to the truck show with my dad, who is a truck driver, and came across the celebrity guest!"

Dale Newman and son Mckenzie, from Flintshire, met actor Ian Puleston-Davies at Mold Carnival 2012: "Met the Coronation Street actor, totally different person to who he played in the role of Owen Armstrong."

Steven Tattum, from Connah's Quay, has two starry selfie tales. He met actor John Challis at the Chester Forum Theatre, March 2018: "I was lucky to get front row tickets for Only Fools and Horses megastar John Challis' one man show. After the show he took time to meet every single person and chatted to everyone too. A wonderful experience." And hes also met singer Alison Moyet, at the Manchester Apollo in June 2008: "I was extremely lucky to get tickets for the one-off Yazoo reunion concert and when Alison Moyet and Vince Clarke arrived at the venue, they stopped and posed with all the fans, signing autographs."
