Morbius the Living Vampire, Dracula, the Prince of Darkness and Darth Vader, Dark Lord of the Sith top the wide array of titles in this weeks update to Marvel Unlimited. The new releases to the subscription-based archive include the premiere issues of Morbius the Living Vampire and the classic Tomb of Dracula Facsimile Edition starring Blade the Vampire Slayer, as well as three titles from a galaxy far, far away, Target Vader, Jedi Fallen Order - Dark Temple, and the flagship title, Star Wars. The blood-drinking vampire of myth and legend has long held allure in popular culture, taking on a sophisticated and seductive quality in cinema with the creatures supernatural charisma and mesmeric gaze. But the fangs are out in Morbius the Living Vampire #1 from writer Vita Ayala and artistMarcelo Ferreira. A victim of his own schemes to find a cure for a rare blood disorder, Michael Morbius profane experiments transform him into a grisly vampire with an unquenchable thirst for the blood of the living. In Vita Ayalas new spine-tingling tale, Morbius comes as an avenging spirit targeting the criminal excesses of would-be-alchemist, The Melter and his unsavory henchmen. In his relentless quest for a cure, an intrigued Morbius raids the Melters makeshift lab for a possible serum, though the results may only make matters worse for the fanged horror. Dont miss the masterfully illustrated cover art by Ryan Brown, plus the appearance of an mysterious figure from Micheal Morbius past who wants him dead!

Catch up on your vampire lore with Marvel Unlimiteds updated back-catalogue featuring Adventure Into Fear #20 and the premiere of Morbius the Living Vampire in his own 70s monthly. Published in 1974, the glam-rock ghoul created by the influential Marvel writer and editor-in-chief, Roy Thomas and Silver Age-superstar, Gil Kane as an antagonist for Amazing Spider-Man headlined Adventure Into Fear from issue 20 until the title concluded its run in issue 31, including a guest appearance from the stoic Blade the Vampire Slayer. Marvel Unlimited has added six classic issues of Adventure Into Fear with Morbius the Living Vampire, written and illustrated by the likes of Steve Gerber, renown for his work with another '70s monster-hero Man-Thing, the exceptional artistry of P. Craig Russell, and Paul Gulacy, famous for Master of Kung Fu.

Creatures of the night will no doubt enjoy the Tomb Of Dracula Facsimile Edition, featuring the Prince of Darkness and, like Adventure Into Fear, also guest-stars Blade the Vampire Slayer. Written by Marv Wolfman with artist Gene Colan, co-creators of the supernatural monster hunter Blade, the Facsimile Edition reprints issue 10 of Tomb of Dracula in its entirety, as it appeared on shelves in 1972. With 36 pages of vampiric action, Tomb of Dracula comes complete with wacky 1970s ads to help you become an invincible Karate Master at home with Super Karate, buy Indian-Lincoln Cents by the pound, and learn to Cartoon for Money for 25 postage/handling." And theres even a order form for the shuttered Marvel fan-club, FOOM, the Friends of Ol Marvel, and a classic Marvel Bullpen Bulletin with even more monster madness (Tales of the Zombie!).

If classic monsters arent the droids youre looking for, Marvel Unlimited delivers three new Star Wars titles to the archive this week. The penultimate issue of the Star Wars: Target Vader limited series from Robbie Thompson arrives this week and not even cyborg bounty hunter Valances Imperial training has prepared him for the wrath of a vengeful Sith. And Chewbacca tries his hairy hand against the villainous Darth Vader in Star Wars #74, Destination Hoth from Jedi Masters Greg Pak and Phil Noto. The characters from Respawn Entertainments canonized video game, Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order come to life in Marvel Comics limited series, Dark Temple from writer Matthew Rosenberg and artist Paolo Villanelli. Set five years after the events of Revenge of the Sith and Emperor Palpatines Order 66, what few surviving Jedi remain are hunted relentlessly across Known Space by the Empires Inquisitors in chapter 4 of 5, A Truce, a Trap, and a Traitor. Catch up now, all three Star Wars titles come to a dramatic conclusion in the subsequent issues, due on Marvel Unlimited next month.
