EXCLUSIVE PREVIEW: Catch a glimpse of the World of Darkness in VAMPIRE: THE MASQUERADE #1 – Comics Beat

The World of Darkness is filled with vampires, ghouls, and hunters living in the shadows. In Vampire: The Masquerade #1, the top-selling tabletop RPG game comes to life on the printed page thanks to Vault Comics in partnership with Paradox Interactive.

Each issue features two stories that interact and interconnect: a fearsome Camarilla courier in Minneapolis and an Anarch coterie from outside the city tasked with investigating a murder.

From the internationally best-selling World of Darkness universe, Vault brings readers a brand-new Vampire: The Masquerade comic series, Winters Teeth.

When Cecily Brine, a courier for the Twin Cities Camarilla, takes a mysterious younger vampire under her wing, shes dragged into an insidious conspiracy. Will she be able to escape with her unlife and protect her aging, Alzheimers afflicted sister, or will she be yet another pawn sacrificed to the Masquerade?

Meanwhile, an Anarch coterie investigates a mysterious killing.

Writer Tim Seeley and artist Dev Pramanik take on one half of the narrative while Tini Howard, Blake Howard, and artist Nathan Gooden tackle the second part. Colors are byAddison Dukeand covers will come fromAaron Campbell and Gooden. AndWorld Design is on letters and designs are by Tim Daniel.

Players of the game also will receive exclusive material for Vampire: The Masquerade 5th Edition, the rule book from Modiphius Entertainment. The content includes characters, locations, scenarios, and more that readers can use to play alongside events in the comic.
