Higanjima Vampire Manga Will Be Getting a New Gag Comedy Manga Spin-off – Finance Rewind

Higanjima Vampire is a Japanese manga series. It is illustrated and written by Koji Matsumoto. An anime movie adaptation released in 2010. Apart from this two spin-off series have released- Higanjima 48 Nichigo and Higanjima: Saigo no. 47 Michigan. Both the manga series published in Kodanshas Weekly Young Magazine.

In 2002 Higanjima started serializing in Weekly Young Magazine. It eventually ended in 2010. The first Tankobon volume by Kodansha released on 4th April 2003. 33rd Volume of it published on 6th December 2010. After that a sequel series has released, Higanjima: Saigo no 47 Nichikan. It serialized on 2nd October 2010. And ended somewhere in July 2014. In a period from January 2011 to September 2005, almost 69 volumes published. Higanjima 48 Nichigo, another sequel published on 18th August 2014.

The maker itself has launched a new gag spin-off manga for Higanjima manga (Nirvana Island). The new spin-off is titled Kare, Kishijima which means He is Nishijima. It will be published on Comic Days websites and Kodanshas Yanmaga web on Monday. The drawing of the manga is by Taro Sasebo.

The franchise of Higanjima has 3 manga series, two live-action drama series, and two live-action movies. Higanjima Deluxe, the second live-action movie premiered in October 2016 in Japan.

The plot of the original manga revolves around Akira. He is in the middle of the final battle between Vampires and the Human race. Only about 47 days are left until Japan will turn into an island of Vampires.

In October 2016, Higanjima X anime premiered. It consists of 12 episodes and ended in March 2017. Each of the animes episode tells a self-contained, stand-alone story, adapting key scenes and dialogue from the manga while adding some original elements. Each episode had only one voice cast member, who voiced all of that episodes character roles. The voice cast changed every three episodes. The anime received a special chapter in 2018.
