PREVIEW: A witch goes abroad in BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER: WILLOW #1 – Comics Beat

BOOM! Studios has released a five-page preview ofBuffy the Vampire Slayer: Willow#1. The five-issue miniseries from writerMariko Tamaki, artistNatacha Bustos, coloristEleonora Bruni, and lettererJodi Wyne picks up Willow Rosenbergs story following the events of theBuffy/Angel: Hellmouth crossover. In the aftermath of those tragic events, Willow has left Sunnydale to do some soul-searching. The preview finds her across the pond, searching for a place to fit in, and not necessarily finding it.

BOOM! teases that this miniseries will plant the seeds for a future no one could have predicted, so Ill make a wild prediction now: Willow becomes a vampire. Wait, theyve done that before. UhWillow becomes an evil witch. Scratch that, theyve done that, too. How about: Willow converts to the Church of England. Thats probably it. Ill have to read the miniseries to find out if my prediction comes true.
