‘Supernatural’: Celebrities You Forgot Were Guest Stars on the Series – Showbiz Cheat Sheet

Its not too early for Supernatural fans to start reminiscing about the series and some of its funniest, finest, and fondest moments. Those include guest appearances from celebrities who were either budding actors or seasoned stars when they showed up on the screen with Sam and Dean.

Theres the unforgettable animated episode with Scooby-Doo and the gang, but those arent the only famous faces to be roped into Supernaturals snares. Here are a few others who joined the show as guests.

Known for his roles in This Is Us, American Crime Story, and Black Panther, Brown appeared in the early days of Supernatural in seasons 2 and 3. He played Gordon Walker, a hunter who had a special hatred for vampires. His character was part of the special children plotline with the Devils Gate.

After some intense back and forth with the Winchesters, he was turned into a vampire himself and Sam wound up killing him.

Famous for her role as Regan in The Exorcist, Blair popped up in season 2 as Detective Diana Ballard. She arrested the Winchesters for murder but later changed her mind after having her own ghostly encounter.

At the end of the episode, Dean even cracked a joke, saying, For some reason I could really go for some pea soup.

Fans may recognize Tracy as the Blue Fairy from ABCs Once Upon a Time, but she has a penchant for the sci-fi/fantasy genre. Before that series, she landed two different roles in Supernatural. In season 2, she was Karen Giles, the woman whose murder was pinned on Dean.

In season 4, Tracy played Chucks publisher Sera Siege. She was reluctant to give up Chucks real name (he was going by Carver Edlund) but eventually did it.

Who remembers Springfields stint as Lucifer? Well, he was really Vince Vincente, the rock star possessed by Lucifer. Springfield nailed the part in season 12 as a down-on-his-luck rocker who wanted to make a comeback. It didnt work out for Vince in the four-episode arc.

Supernatural brought the comedy when they introduced Snooki as a crossroads demon in season 9. She got to play a demon in a Snooki meatsuit who gave up information on Crowley when the Winchesters were battling Abaddon. Her character survived the encounter.

Like Snooki, Paris Hilton served as a vessel in Supernatural. A forest god imitating famous people assumed her form in season 5s Fallen Idol episode. Hilton captured Sam and Dean as Leshii, an old pagan god taking victims by blood. Sam eventually killed the deity.

The legendary Robert Englund became a national treasure for his portrayal of Freddy Krueger in A Nightmare on Elm Street. His appearance on Supernatural was like a match made in horror heaven but he didnt have to become a monster.

In true Supernatural fashion, Englund played Dr. Robert, an old friend of John Winchesters who performed underground medical procedures. In season 10, he welcomed the Winchester boys with open arms and helped Dean die on purpose so he could meet with Death. He then resuscitated him.
