At the start of the show, Bonnie invited Elena to flirt with all the mysterious new stranger Stefan Salvatore. But when her abilities started to manifest, and she obtained a chilly, dark feeling, she immediately changed her tune.

Without an understanding of the supernatural, she kissed him based on an effortless feeling. When Elena began dating Stefan, Bonnie prevented him acted tirelessly towards him.
