Netflixs new series V Wars premiered on Thursday, December 5. After the finale, youve probably wondered whether the next series would be out or not. So, after ten amazing episodes, heres what we have in store for you!
As for now, the next season hasnt been confirmed yet. However, the leading man and executive producer Ian Somerhalder (Vampire Diaries) hopes to continue the story.

V Wars was announced way back in April 2018, with the main characters getting cast soon after. A few months later, the first season dropped on December 5, 2019.
According to this, if the next season and future episodes get the green light, we can expect to see them much before 2021.

Season one introduces us to Dr. Luther Swann (Ian Somerhalder) and Michael Fayne (Adrian Holmes). They are best friends who find themselves on opposite sides of a fight when Michael gets hit with a strange virus that turns him into a.you guessed it right, a vampire.
Swann is working really hard to try and find a cure. Firstly, he tries to save his friend. Secondly, he has to save humanity as the virus spreads.
Season one showcases the scene of this scary new world, where the vampire virus is creating divisions, causing fear and collapsing the society.
Actor Adrian Holmes, says the show is a completely different take on the whole vampire genre. The show itself is progressive and touches on a lot of issues that we have to deal with, such as environmental issues and climate change, he says to Digital Spy.
In season one, V Wars vampires dont just turn from a bite, and the virus is dependent on having a particular human gene in order to become one. There are different kinds of vampires, that depends on the individual person.
As for whether Holmes would like to see a second season, the answer is an obvious one. Although it would be a long wait, season two would probably continue from season one.
