Arent you guys still not over with Vampire Diaries? Because Im not!

Anyone would crave for those amazing vampires holding powers to watch again on screens.

But will there be another season of the show i.e ninth season?

The series came to an end on 10th March back in 2017 (ITV2) whereas Netflix got it after seven Months in November. But according to the creators and some lead characters, the ninth season is not going to happen. Though the producers even thought of doing it again and giving a last chance or a little treat to all the fans like me but ultimately had to drop the idea.

Ian Somerhalder who was seen as Stefan Salvatore for eight seasons has also said he has no plan to return to the series again. He passed a sarcastic comment of not being able to play the youthful vampire for his entire life while on the other hand quoted some beautiful words that theres a beauty in closure and things only come in our lives to leave an impact on our lives which can be cherished forever.

The other main characters of the show like Nina Dobrev( Elena Gilbert) and Paul Wesley( Stefan Salvatore) have also denied coming back for another season or playing the same characters again.

But who says if lead role characters and the writer can decide the fate of the show, as there are still chances of the Series returning as it is yet not cancelled by CW officially.

So fans, you can still hope and might be lucky enough to have a ninth season.
