Want To Meet a Vampire? ‘Buffy’s James Marsters Will Be at FanExpo Dallas and MegaCon Orlando – Nerds and Beyond

Buffy the Vampire Slayer fans, get ready for a chance to see one of your favorite vampires! James Marsters, a.k.a. Spike, will be at both MegaCon Orlando and FanExpo Dallas this year.

Marsters began his acting career on stage before moving into some small roles in film and television. His big break came in 1997 when he took on his best known role as Spike. Originally Marsters was set to appear for only a few episodes of Buffy; however, he became such a fan favorite that he became a regular on the show. He also appeared as Spike on the spin-off Angel and in several movies. Beyond his acting career, he is also a talented musician and has played at clubs across the US.

For both MegaCon and FanExpo Dallas, Marsters is set to appear Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Photo ops will be available for $60 and autographs for $40. Additionally, while the conventions have not announced any panels yet, there is no doubt that over three days fans will have plenty of opportunities to see the star in action.

Both conventions faced delays and ultimately cancellation in 2020 and are now set to take place August 12-15 (MegaCon) and September 17-19 (FanExpo). Marsters joins stars including Dave Bautista, William Shatner, George Takei, and the four hobbits (Elijah Wood, Sean Astin, Dominic Monaghan, and Billy Boyd) as a celebrity guest for the events. However, if these names dont quite hit the spot for you, dont worry, as we can still expect more guest announcements over the coming months.

Be sure to check back here for updates as we get closer to the dates, and make sure to visit theMegaCon OrlandoandFanExpo Dallaswebsites to buy your tickets.
