Werewolf: The Apocalypse Earthblood Release Date and Trailer – Den of Geek UK

Weve heard loose talk about a video game adaptation of the Werewolf: The Apocalypse tabletop RPG series, but aside from a brief teaser trailer, there hasnt been much to go on. Now, though, weve finally got a fresh look at Werewolf: The Apocalypse Earthblood.

Earthbloods story begins with the apparently upcoming death of Gaia, the Earth mother. It seems that Gaia has been losing a battle against a destructive force known as the Wyrm. Not only is the Wyrm quite powerful, but it (and its minions) are supported by a multinational corporate which seeks to kill Gaia and take over the world (presumably in order to bump up those third-quarter numbers with the help of some employee layoffs).

You play a former protector of Gaia (and noted werewolf) named Cahal. While Cahal has enjoyed a kind of self-imposed exile from his duties for years now, he decides to get back into the action after learning that his old pack is in danger.

Earthblood is set in the World of Darkness universe, which also so happens to house the Vampire: The Masquerade series. Its known for its deep mythology, compelling stories, and dark tones blended with even darker humor. We expect this game to share many style points with the Vampire games, with the biggest difference being that you are a werewolf and not some lame vampire (sorry vampires, but you know its true).
