What We Do In The Shadows: 10 Things To Expect From Series 3 – Screen Rant

We're expecting What We Do In The Shadows' third season to be its best yet, and here are 10 things we'd love to see when it premieres.

What We Do In The Shadowsrecently had their Comic-Con panel teasing the third season of the show. The second series took the beloved vampires to new heights, revealing Guillermo's origins to them and taking them on an adventure with witches and Mark Hamill, of all people.

Season three will continue on from many of these events and hopefully create a few more side stories involving the main characters. While it's exciting to see the development of the existing stories, it's even more intriguing to see what else the showrunners have lined up. With a few hints revealed during the panel, there's plenty of assumptions that can be made about the next season.

Nandor has, thus far, has had hisclosest relationship with his former horse. While Lazlo and Nadja obviously have a strong relationship, Nandor has been pretty unlucky when it comes to love. It appears that the third season of the Taika Waititi-inspired series is set to explore Nandor's love life further, hopefully finding him a partner who's just as quirky.

There's been a wide variety of magical and horror-based creatures across the show so far,as well as in the film. That's going to continue with the writers suggesting they have a few plans in store. There's been vampires, witches, werewolves, and even trolls, so it's hard to believe that more magical monsters could exist somewhere in the world. It's difficult to say what kind of creatures could be introduced next.

Colin Robinson is an energy vampire, but he's still not totally sure where his powers have come from. He's always accepted it as part of his origin, but he now has more questions to ask.

It seems that Colin will go on his own journey next series to try and find out how he really became a vampire and whether he can even pass his own abilities on.

Nadja decided to put the ghost of her former self into a doll so that she could have someone to talk to who really understood her. There's something more sinister at play here, though. This story wasn't resolved in the second series, so it will be revisited. It's possible that it's actually a demon disguising itself, or perhaps the previous Nadja might try to grab a life back for herself.

Every season, there's been a number of great celebrity cameos, and, with the show becoming increasingly popular, it's going to be interesting to see who else steps into this crazy world. There's a lot of brilliant actors to include, but it would be really fun to see those that have played vampires or other mythical creatures in the past, crossover over with the gang.

The werewolves have been largely absent from the series in comparison to the film. There are always ways to bring them back in as the main rivals to the vampires though.

With the vampire world turned upside-down, it could be the perfect moment for the werewolves to try to capitalize on this vacuum of power and set about taking control of the United States.

Guillermo is the ancestor to one of the most famous vampire hunters in movies or TV: Van Helsing. This is bad news for any vampires that want to hang around him. His true side was revealed to his friends, and they were clearly uneasy about his killing spree. Guillermo could continue to transition into a deadly vampire hunter.

The consequences of the murder of the vampiric council and various other members of the community will surely come back to haunt the gang after Guillermo's killing spree. The members of the council that are left will surely be out for some kind of revenge, and there might be even more dangers ahead of Nandor, Lazlo, Colin, and Nadja.

There might be another nemesis for these characters out there somewhere. Laszlo has a couple that he's fought against, but none of the other characters have really had any nemesis created, apart from Nadja and the witches.

It would be fun for Colin to get his own nemesis especially, perhaps giving him an interesting side story to explore, alongside his search for the origins of an energy vampire.

It appears that Laszlo could be looking for some kind of redemption in the future for some of the terrible things he has done. He's likely the most troublesome of the group. At some point, he's going to genuinely feel the consequences of all his terrible decisions, from giving a fake fish to his former rival, to turning a baby into a vampire. His actions are often unjustifiable, and, at some point, he will have to redeem himself for all of his trickery.
