Mr. Lee is an associate in the Litigation Department and a member of the Financial Services, Securities, and Class Action practice groups. He advises and represents nationwide and global corporations in regulatory enforcement proceedings and high-stakes litigation.

Mr. Lees practice focuses on representing a spectrum of financial institutions from micro-lenders to the largest commercial banks in the world, drawing on his years of experience as a banker. He is highly-regarded for prosecuting and defending a wide variety of complex actions for his clients, including civil RICO and class actions.

Mr. Lee has prosecuted civil RICO actions involving dozens of entities and tens of millions of dollars in both the insurance and health care fields. He has also defended officers and directors in securities class actions arising under the Securities Act of 1933 and the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 as well as financial institutions in consumer class actions arising under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Recently, Mr. Lee expanded this practice to include the defense Taft-Hartley benefit plans in class actions brought under ERISA.

As a member of Seyfarth Shaws National Whistleblower Team, Mr. Lee counsels officers, directors, and compliance committees faced with whistleblower complaints filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission and/or the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.

Mr. Lee has been recognized as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers magazine every year since 2015. In law school, Mr. Lee was Editor of the Law Review and an extern to the Honorable David O. Carter, United States District Judge for the Central District of California.

Mr. Lee is dedicated to increasing access to pro bono services to disenfranchised communities.
