B. Christopher Lee – Kurtz & Revness

Christopher is Of Counsel to the Firm and co-chairs the Construction Law practice group and Construction Litigation practice group. For more than 35years, Chris has concentrated his practice on complex construction and commercial law issues, litigation, and dispute resolution. Chris is a seasoned trial attorney with extensive experience trying complex cases before judges, juries, and alternative dispute resolution panels.

In addition, Christopher dedicates a significant portion of his time to serving as a mediator of complex construction and commercial disputes for the International Centre for Dispute Resolution and the American Arbitration Association on the Commercial, Construction, International, Large Complex Case, and Master Mediator Panels. In 2015, he was selected to serve on the Master Mediator Panel for the American Arbitration Association. He is also an active member of the National Construction Dispute Resolution Committee, which is the advisory committee to the American Arbitration Association. He is also a frequent author and lecturer on construction law and alternative dispute resolution issues throughout the country and internationally.

Christopher has consistently been recognized as one of the preeminent lawyers in his areas of practice. Since 2006, Christopher has been selected annually by The Best Lawyers in America as one of the top Construction Law attorneys in the Philadelphia region. In 2013, Christopher was dually selected by The Best Lawyers in America as one of the top attorneys in the Philadelphia region for both Construction Law and Construction Litigation. In 2018 and 2015, he was named Philadelphia Construction Litigation Lawyer of the Year by The Best Lawyers in America. In 2016, he was named 2016 Philadelphia Construction Lawyer of the Year by The Best Lawyers in America. In 2014, he was selected by his colleagues to become a Fellow of The College of Commercial Arbitrators. In 2013, he was selected by his colleagues to become a Fellow of The American College of Civil Trial Mediators.

Christopher is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York, the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Claims, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and the United States District Courts for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, Middle District of Pennsylvania, and District of New Jersey. Christopher received his J.D. from Temple University School of Law. He received his B.A. from Washington & Lee University, where he graduated cum laude.

In addition to his legal activities, Christopher is a Past President of the Board of Trustees of The Charter High School for Architecture and Design of Philadelphia (CHAD), and is the Immediate Past President of the foundation which supports CHAD. He is also a member of The Devereux Pennsylvania Advisory Board. Christopher is a past president of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Washington & Lee University Alumni Association and served on the Universitys National Alumni Board. When not practicing law or volunteering, Christopher tries to play as much golf as he can, albeit not well.
