David was a collector and had many collections, from wooden ships, to stamps. David loved to talk spinning a good tale over a beer about his collections, his military service, his boyhood and his world travels. More than one tale of fishing and hunting poured out for friends and family, often ending in in a questionable limerick that could bring giggles or groans.A Private viewing and reception will be held at Comox Valley Funeral Home, Wednesday, September 23 from 11 am to 3 pm. Flowers gratefully declined. The family asks that a donation to the Heart and Stroke Association be made in Davids name. The family would like to thank the Comox Valley EMS and the Comox Valley RCMP detachment for their diligent work, dedicated assistance and compassionate attention.Obituary
