Dracula: Will There Be A Season 2? How Will The Series Continue? – NationEditions

The old vampire show is still popular in modern times, with a host of Dracula-based films and sitcoms. Once the BBC came up with the Dracula show, viewers were encouraged to watch, and in the first season, a relatively broad fan base was established. Critics and fans welcomed the first season. The series so far has told Draculas story, and the latest advances in technology and science have been much higher than previous versions of the show.

The writers wrote the series of Sherlock, Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat, which drew heavily from the vampire tale of Bram Stoker in 1897, while Danish actor Claes Bang played the role of the villainous Count Dracula following the footsteps of the famous on-screen bloodsuckers Bela Lugosi, Christopher Lee, and Gary Oldman.

Although the BBC still needs to announce the second series of Dracula, in an interview, Mark Gatiss suggested that the count will also return.

Season 1 ended so far with a satisfactory note. Some things can be taken advantage of to prolong the series for the second season but are only for one season. The only challenge now is to continue the series for another season. There are chances of renewal as many rumors going around the series.

The esteemed duo wrote a story for Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffats series, which distinguished themselves for writing the acclaimed BBC Sherlock show. But if they are still writing for the second season, it would be a feast for the fans. The tale revealed Draculas character beautifully.

Unless the BBC wants to do a second season, dont expect to see it for a while.

While the first series consists of just three chapters, Dracula established in June 2017 more than two and a half years ago. Since the show was commissioned officially by the BBC, production took about a year in October 2018, including seven months of shooting!

Moffat is about to start working on a new HBO thriller, The Time Travellers Wife, and the BBC Inside Man show, so it isnt clear enough when hell find the time to place another Dracula on his calendar.

Dont expect to see anything until mid-2021 at the latest. Sherlock, the previous series of Gatiss and Moffat, is notorious for lengthy sequence gaps.

Doctor Helsing fell to the floor after disclosing the fear of the count of death. Still, before it succeeded in falling into the carcinoma that spread through her body, Dracula decided to feed her poisonous blood and killed them in a fiery yet shockingly romantic way.

We never saw any of them die, although this was a fitting end to their epic war. When the BBC wants to start a second season, maybe one or both could come back somehow born again. If so, Dracula will be stronger than ever; he claimed that the alleged weaknesses no longer influenced him.

The upcoming seasons of the series will also recreate earlier periods of Draculas history. After all, the authors love playing with time, and the backstory can be pillaged for inspiration for over five hundred years.
