Before going into 1917, I was quite apprehensive about because of Sam Mendes' previous venture, Spectre. Yes, the makers had roped in a great cast, one of the best cinematographers i.e. Roger Deakins, one of the best editors i.e. Lee Smith, and one of the best composers i.e Thomas Newman. But that was the case with Spectre as well, right? However, after watching it, I was rendered completely speechless. And it looks like I am not the only one. Michael Caine is in love with it as well.

So, how did I get to know that Michael Caine loves 1917? Well, he said so on Twitter. Yes! Michael Caine has a goddamn Twitter account. Who knew? And don't you go around pretending that you knew Michael Caine has a Twitter account. Nobody knew Michael Caine has a Twitter account.

Now, I am pretty sure that anyone who has an idea of Christopher Nolan's filmography will know that he always Michael Caine is in his movies. I mean, he managed to put Caine in Dunkirk by making him voice Fortis Leader, one of the three planes flying alongside Tom Hardy's Farrier. So, Twitter was pretty shocked that he has chosen to praise a movie that is being heavily pitted with Dunkirk. And the rest were shocked that Caine is active on Twitter.

I love the concern for Nolan's mental health but I am sure he is a filmmaker who will appreciate the immense work that has gone into making a movie like 1917 just like Caine has. And, yes I am a 100% sure that Caine is not going to be cut out of Tenet.
