A Stamford man was killed and three other individuals were hospitalized after a one-vehicle rollover accident in Crosby County, east of Lubbock, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

At about 6 a.m. Saturday, Christopher Lee Elias, 41, of Stamford, was killed at aboutwhen he lost control of the pickup he was driving on State Road 207 nearCounty Road 230, overcorrected and rolled over multiple times, according to DPS Sgt. John Gonzalez.

Gonzalez said three others were ejected from the vehicle and were transported to University Medical Center in Lubbock with undisclosed injuries.

The three passengers were identified asJohn Chambers, 35, of Abilene;Jeffery Scott London, 41, of Stamford;and Jerrad Chamber, 34, of Stamford, according to Gonzalez.

DPS said the crash is still under investigation Saturday afternoon.
