The eclectic band of footballers Aaron Hickey joined after swapping Hearts for Bologna – The Scotsman

After completing his 1.3m move to Italy yesterday, Aaron Hickey joins a small, but growing, band of Scots footballers who are currently plying their trade in Europe.

At 18, the now former Hearts left back has followed in the footsteps of several teenage countrymen who have upped sticks at a young age in order to pursue a career on the continent.
