Why Daniel Jeremiah Thinks the Titans May Draft a Receiver in Round 1 – atozsportsnashville.com

Daniel Jeremiah thinks the Tennessee Titans may add a receiver in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft.

In his latest mock draft, the NFL Network draft analyst and former scout pegged the Titans to take Arizona State receiver Brandon Aiyuk with the 29th overall pick.

Jeremiah spoke with reporters on a conference call Thursday afternoon, and he explained why the Titans may want to go for a pass catcher at pick 29.

I love Brandon Aiyuk, Jeremiah said. Hes my fifth receiver. He is so sudden and so quick, and I know the 40 time said 4.50, but he plays a lot faster than that. One of the things thats unique about him is that he has rare length.

You get somebody that can make plays in traffic with his toughness, hes phenomenal after the catch, he can help you in the return game as wellhes really good in that department. Its just getting the ball in his hands, then let him go and make plays.

If the Titans do go with a receiver in the first round, Jeremiah said that they will have good options available at other positions of need when they pick again at pick No. 61 in the second round.

At pick 61, thats about the range for DT Neville Gallimore, about the range for Jordan Elliott from Missouri, thats the group you can look at for the defensive tackle position.

At the corner spot, I really like Reggie Robinson from Tulsah, I think hes a great player. Noah Igbinoghene from Auburn is a tough one because hes got the athletic ability and the toughness you love, hes just really struggled to play the football and make plays.
