Since January 4, 2020, when the three episodes of Dracula were released on BBC One and Netflix, there are many questions regarding whether there will be a season 2 of Dracula or not. Here is everything we know so far about the series. Presently there are no announcements by the BBC or Netflix about Dracula season 2.

Dracula is a series created by Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat. The series is based on a novel of the same name written by Bram Stoker. It was aired on BBC One and Netflix. The season one consisted of three episodes. Claes Bang is featured in the title character. Dracula was premiered on 1 January 2020 and the episodes were broadcasted over three consecutive days. The series features Dracula and his origins in Eastern Europe, followed by his battles with Van Helsings descendants.

There is no official confirmation of the second series of Dracula by BBC. But the creator of the series Mark Gatiss indicated in an interview that there will be a second season of Dracula. He said that its very hard to kill a vampire when he was asked about the possibility of a second season. He continued by questioning, Do you know what I mean? What they do is resurrect.

Co-creator of the series Steven Moffat also spoke about the future episodes. He said that we need to wait and watch for the possibility of the series. And also in the final episode of Dracula, The Dark Compass, it seems like the series has ended for good.

In the last episodes, Dracula realized that many of his vampire weaknesses are actually habits borne out of shame. He is convinced by Sister Agatha that all this time he is trying to run from his death and now the Count decides to end it all. By drinking the cancerous blood of Agathas descendant Zoe, Dracula willingly poisons himself.
