It is currently unclear whether the show has been renewed for a second season. The show was announced as a miniseries. Also, in the final episode, Zoe dies, and Dracula drinks her poisoned blood. The two then share an epiphany in the sunlight. It is unclear whether Dracula is dead or not as the ending was left somewhat ambiguous for the audience. So there may be a second season on the way, only it is yet to be announced.
