The New York Knicks appear to be using loud music at Madison Square Garden to drown out chants from disgruntled fans.

Music blared nonstop during the final minutes of the Knicks' 126-103 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday night as fans chanted "sell the team," according to Greg Joyce of the New York Post. Songs were even played during two late-game Bobby Portis free throws.

"I was thinking that in my head, like, 'Damn, this is crazy,'" Portis said. "It didn't bother me, but it was just crazy. Most times, especially when you're at home, there's no music playing.

"The same theme kept repeating. I don't know, it was like a scary movie."

Others on Twitter also noticed the music.

This comes after a Knicks fan claimed MSG security "interrogated" and threatened him with arrest after he led a "sell the team" chant during Wednesday's loss to the Utah Jazz.

The Knicks are currently 19-44 on the season.
