Maximum Overdrive is special as Stephen King has not only given its story, but has worked as the director in it. Although its a horror film, it has a comic angle to it as well. Certainly, Maximum Overdrive is known to have black humor elements. In the movie, a comet sends machines on earth that starts a homicidal rampant. If you want to try Stephens story but in a different genre, you must watch The Shawshank Redemption. This American legendary drama film is based on Kings Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption. Certainly, the film has been extremely popular even today. Its story revolves around a banker Andy, who is sentenced to Shawshank State Penitentiary. It depicts how Andy works his way to freedom by cleverly escaping the jail. The story is not just simply a story, but a life lesson.

Above all, the movie has received positive reviews. Being an epic story, The Shawshank Redemption earned 7 Academy Awards nominations.
