Content Drop: Temtem, Commandos, Praetorians, and the Walking Dead – PC Invasion

This weeks Content Drop features the following PC game releases: The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners, as well as the HD remasters of Commandos 2 and Praetorians. Temtem also launches as part of Steams early access program.

Lets face it, at one point in time, most of us have played thePokmon games. Some remember those childhood memories fondly, and others continue playing the next-gen games and various spinoffs (such as CCGs) throughout the years. That brings us to Temtem which does, at times, remind you of Pokmon. The main difference is that its an MMO game. As such, youre expected to interact and battle with a multitude of players in Temtems Airborne Archipelago.

Lawrence checked out Temtem a week before its arrival as part of Steams early access program and he noted some similarities. However, in his preview, he also noticed some glaring flaws such as extremely linear paths and unavoidable trainer battles just so you could reach Temtems temporiums sort of like the games own version of a Pokmon Center.

But, that was during Temtems stress test demo. Some of these quirks and mishaps could eventually get ironed out given that the game is still in early access. The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners (Skydance Entertainment): January 23 Make your way to the New Orleans of The Walking Deads universe in this VR title. Find it on Steam.

Praetorians HD Remaster (Torus Games/Pyro Studios): January 24 Praetorians is a real-time strategy game featuring armies an emerging Roman Empire and rival civilizations. You can play as various factions such as the Romans, Ptolemaic Egypt, and barbarians. Praetorians originally released in 2003 and its HD remastered version promises higher resolution and improved textures. Find it on Steam.

Commandos 2 HD Remaster (Yippee! Entertainment/Pyro Studios): January 24 A real-time tactics game set during World War II, Commandos 2: Men of Courage originally released in 2001. Youre tasked with guiding a squad of special forces operatives, each with their own unique skills, as they cause mayhem behind enemy lines. Find it on Steam.

Next weeks Content Drops and PC game releases include sci-fi adventure Journey to the Savage Planet and horror title The Coma 2: Vicious Sisters. The first-person slasher Elderborn leaves early access, Might & Magic: Chess Royale launches, and well have a glimpse at one of the granddaddys of the RTS genre, Warcraft III: Reforged.
