'Ghosts' Season 2 Adds 'Gilmore Girls' Star Rose Abdoo

Stars Hollows beloved car mechanic will appear in season two of the sitcom Ghosts. Rose Abdoo, the Gilmore Girls alum, will join the cast for the second season of Ghost. The actress was pictured together in Montreal with Ghosts star Rose McIver. The fan-favorite star who essayed the role of Gypsy also appeared in the revival of Saved by the Bell.

'The Walking Dead': Maggie & Negan Spinoff Series Gets New Title

The spin-off to the hit television series, The Walking Dead, which recently released its 11th season, has a new name. The spin-off was originally titled Isle of the Dead but has now been renamed The Walking Dead: Dead City. The series will focus on The Walking Dead characters Maggie Greene, played by Lauren Cohen, and Negan, played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan. The series will follow Maggie and Negan as they try to survive New York City infested with the undead.

Resident Evil Canceled After Single Season on Netflix

Netflix has pulled the plug on a live-action adaptation of Capcoms iconic video game franchise, Resident Evil. The series was released a year after the much-criticized film by Sony titled Resident Evil: Welcome to Racoon City, but was unfortunately panned by fans and critics alike. Netflix decided to cancel the series just six weeks after it premiered on the streaming service. The games on the other hand have found a new lease of life, thanks to the recent remakes of franchise classics such as Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3, as well as new games such as Resident Evil Village and the upcoming remake of Resident Evil 4.

Star Trek Movie Loses Director Matt Shakman

Matt Shakman who was set to helm the untitled 2023 Star Trek film will no longer be part of the project. The WandaVision director has been dropped out as a result of scheduling conflicts after being named director of the upcoming Marvel reboot of Fantastic Four. Paramount Studios will look for a new director as they expect the Star Trek film to be released by December 22nd this yea

Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives (Netflix)

Gear up for more drama, gossip, and entertainment as Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives is returning for a second season on Netflix this Friday. The show explores the personal lives and careers of Neelam Kothari, Maheep Kapoor, Bhavna Pandey, and Seema Khan. This season will also feature guest appearances from Jackie Shroff, Karan Johar, Ananya Panday, Badshah, Arjun Kapoor, Gauri Khan, Zoya Akhtar, and Bobby Deol.

The Lord of the Rings - The Rings of Power (Amazon Prime Video)

The wait is finally over for The Lord of the Rings fans. Amazon Prime Videos The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power will premiere on the platform on September 2nd. Based on The Lord of the Rings novels by J. R. R. Tolkien, the series is set in the Second Age of Middle-earth. Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Robert Aramayo, Owain Arthur, Maxim Baldry, Nazanin Boniadi, Morfydd Clark, Ismael Cruz Crdova, Charles Edwards, and Trystan Gravelle essay prominent roles.

Prabhu Devas My Dear Bootham will be released on Zee5 this Friday. Directed by N. Ragavan, the film features Prabhu Deva as a genie who strikes an unlikely bond with a boy. Apart from Prabhu Deva, the film stars Ashwanth Ashokkumar and Remya Nambeesan.

Kichcha Sudeeps pan-Indian film Vikrant Rona is finally releasing on OTT. Sudeep plays the titular character who visits a village to investigate a series of strange occurrences. Apart from Sudeep, the film features Nirup Bhandari, Neetha Ashok, Ravishankar Gowda, Madhusudan Rao, and Jacqueline Fernandez. The film will be released in multiple languages on Zee5 on Friday.
