Isle of the Dead update: Gaius Charles joins The Walking Dead spinoff cast – Show Snob

Currently not much is known about the plot of The Walking Deadspin-off, Isle of the Dead. Negan and Maggie will be teaming up and heading to New York City for undisclosed reasons, leaving behind their friends and family.

But why? Well, we have a few theories as to why but lets focus on whats actually known.

It looks like a new character namedPerlie Armstrong will be meeting the two survivors and that might not be a good thing. Played byGaius Charles (TV series Friday Night Lights and Roswell, New Mexico), Perlie is described according to Deadlineas, confident, ruthless, and unyielding in the pursuit of what he believes is justice, with the force of his will and his menace.

Hes also described as a family man with a wife and daughters, yet he enjoys the terror he unleashes. Sounds like Negan and Maggie may have their hands full.

We quickly visited Charless IMDB page where oddly enough hes sited as playing the role of someone namedIzaak. Is Izaak a nickname or fake name?

Our best guess based on his character description is that hell either be the leader of a large community residing within the city of perhaps hell have control of the entire city. It does unfortunately sound like the cruel and unforgiving nature of the walker apocalypse has molded him into the man he later becomes.

That wouldnt be entirely far-fetched as weve seen similar progressions with past Walking Dead characters.What events do you think will lead Negan and Maggie to team up and travel to New York City?
