The Walking Deads creator is walking on to different things.

According to Variety, Robert Kirkman is packing his creative bags. After a successful run at AMC, the popular writer is moving on to other ventures. Along with his Skybound Entertainmentoutfit, the man responsible forthe biggest show on TV is comingto Amazon Prime.

Heres what Kirkman is saying about the move toJeff Bezos streaming service:

While Kirkmans time at AMC can only be described as highly successful, the move isnt surprising. Since Transparent, the streaming service has been working to compete with Netflix. So when we factor that, along with the deep pockets of the company, the Amazon move is a right move. And with a creator like Kirkman at the helm, the results could be brilliant.
