AMCs post-apocalyptic horror TV series The Walking Dead aired its 8th episode of Season 10 last Sunday, November 24, 2019, but that no new episode was aired yesterday, December 1, 2019. With that, people have been wondering if this season will only have 8 episodes. If not, when will the show resume? Well, this article is here to help those whose minds are plagued with such questions.
At the moment, TWD currently has 10 seasons and 139 episodes. However, not all seasons have the same number of total episodes.
Season 1, which was aired way back in 2010, only had 6 episodes in total. Meanwhile, Season 2 had 13 episodes. However, starting from Season 3 up to Season 9, they all featured 16 episodes and Season 10 is expected to follow the same number as well.
According to a report, the show is currently on its winter break and will resume next year, specifically on February 23, 2020, which is a Sunday.
There are many things that fans are looking forward to seeing in the second half of Season 10.
One of them is what will happen to Michonne once she arrives at Bloodsworth Island with Virgil. She embarked on a journey via a boat in hopes to acquire some supplies that can aid her allies in the coming war.
Now, will she be successful or will her journey end up in vain? Its hard to say. Moreover, its important to note that Danai Gurira, the actress who plays Michonne, is leaving the show before the season ends so fans cant help but wonder.
Another thing that fans are looking forward to seeing is Negan who is now part of the Whisperers camp. As for what he will do, we cant say exactly either, but Jeffrey Dean Morgan, the actor who plays the character, had this to say:
People want to say a redemption arc, I dont know if its much of a redemption arc, because I think hes always been who he is. Well see, Morgan explained. I dont think that hes excited for Negan to be Negan, I think hes going to be battling a bunch of things within himself this season.
