Where is Lydia in The Walking Dead? The liberated girl of offensive Whisperer lead Alpha (Samantha Morton) was last observed in 1007, Open Your Eyes, when Carol (Melissa McBride) used Lydia to display Alpha as a cheat. The plot formed it turned Whisperer acolyte Gamma (Thora Birch) to flip on Alpha and give Aaron (Ross Marquand) with important intel on Alphas walker crowd but Lydia, feeling revealed, escaped into Whisperer region alone. In 1008, The World Before, Daryl (Norman Reedus) started a group with ideas to settle the crowd and then Lydia, but that mission was upended when Carol accidentally began the group to convert caught in a cave where theyve now surrounded thousands of pilgrims.

I guess Lydia chooses to pass the border and go away because she cant be herself around the Alexandrians because they dont accept her. They just view her as another Whisperer, McClincy stated on a recent episode of Talking Dead. I believe shes nevermore been lonely, and thats the portion of the reason she moved into Negans cell, is because shes forever been with the Whisperers, and shes never acquired to consider herself.
