AMC has released a new trailer for season nine of The Walking Dead titled Leadership Clash, that teases dissension amongst the main clan in addition to the usual zombie mayhem. Check it out below!

Based on the comic book series written by Robert Kirkman and published by Image Comics,The Walking Deadtells the story of the months and years that follow after a zombie apocalypse and follows a group of survivors, led by police officer Rick Grimes, who travel in search of a safe and secure home. The ninth season willjump forward in timefollowing the events of the groups All Out War with Negan and his Saviors and will highlight a changing infrastructure in the physical world as Rick works to build the more peaceful utopia that his late son, Carl, envisioned.

The series stars Andrew Lincoln,Norman Reedus,Lauren Cohan, Danai Gurira, Melissa McBride, Lennie James, Alanna Masterson, Josh McDermitt, Christian Serratos, Seth Gilliam, Ross Marquand, Austin Amelio, Tom Payne, Xander Berkeley, Khary Payton, andJeffrey Dean Morgan. Newcomers to the series includeLauren Ridloff as comic book characterConnie, withEleanor Matsuura asYumiko from the comic series, andFantastic Beastsstar Dan Fogler in an undisclosed role.

The Walking Deadwill premiere on October 7 on AMC.
