The Edinburgh pub - popular for running themed experiences inspired by the likes of Games of Thrones, Star Wars and The Walking Dead - haven't yet announced a date for the new event.

But taking to Facebook today, they revealed The Witcher could be their next theme.

The team wrote: "Toss a coin for another sneak peek! Blood, Wine & Monsters."

It follows the success of their themed Game of Thrones bar Blood and Wine.

We've previously told how the pub was set to launch a Walking Dead experience in the capital for fans of the zombie drama.

It was just one of the successful themes the Pop Up Geeks' team have hosted in recent years.

While there's no set date for The Witcher bar, fans can enjoy their current Star Wars themed cocktail experience Cantina - which will run until early March.

We previously told how Netflix's The Witcher was forced to cut a graphic battle scene where Geralt was eaten alive and tore through a monsters guts.

The TV adaptation of the popular books and video game has been a huge hit for the streaming service after it premiered last month.

It stars Henry Cavill as monster hunter Geralt and sees him tackle a range of beasts and creatures.

The show also stars Anya Chalotra, who plays Yennefer, and Freya Allan as Ciri.

The Scottish Sun reported earlier this month how actress Anya Chalotra revealed the toll of the series' heart-wrenching drowned baby scene.

While emotionally it took a toll, not to mention the sea providing its own logistical challenges, she said that it was in the most difficult moments that the true mettle of Yennefer shone through.
