The Vampire Diaries Leaving Netflix in September – Nerds and Beyond

Its been five years since The Vampire Diaries came to an end after eight seasons on The CW. While fans have been able to rewatch the epic romances, drama, and everything that comes with being a supernatural creature on Netflix, it will, unfortunately, soon be time to leave Mystic Falls.

Although not officially announced, Netflix did quietly warn fans that the last day to watch The Vampire Diaries is September 3, as shown above. As of now, its not known whether it will find a new home elsewhere and when, but theres less than a month to get one last watch in before it leaves Netflix.

The news comes after Netflix took off the first four seasons of spin-off The Originals, leaving just the fifth season still available. Other spin-off, Legacies, meanwhile, still has all four seasons for the time being.
