The popular TV show The Vampire Diaries ran for eight seasons in total which gave its creators more than enough time to introduce plenty of characters who played an important part in the story. Some of them were heroes, some villains and then there were those who switched between both sides depending on the circumstances. Since the show worked with so many characters it was easy to make favorites and find someone the fans liked sooner or later.

But since each character of The Vampire Diaries is so different it makes perfect sense that some would be the best possible soulmate for a certain Chinese Zodiac sign while others wouldn't.

Those born in the sign of Rat have many positive attributes. They're quick-witted, clever, charming, sharp and funny. They can also be greedy and thanks to their natural curiosity, they constantly seek new knowledge and challenges. Klaus has a lot of personal charm and despite his killing tendencies, he was good at swaying others, making them join his side. He's also highly intelligent and always has a witty remark ready, thanks to his dry sense of humor as well.

Oxes are one of the more introverted Chinese Zodiac signs. They're hard-working, stubborn, and serious people who take comfort in their families and loved ones. Katherine may have seemed like a lone wolf but she was closely connected to those she cared about. Her stubborn nature is well-known since she never accepted the fate life threw at her and kept fighting even when the situation seemed hopeless. Plus, she had a wicked sense of humor so she'd succeed at cheering the Oxes up a bit.

Enzo may not have started as the most sympathetic of characters but he quickly gained the love of the audience the more the fans of the show learned about him. Enzo would be the perfect soulmate for Tigers who are charming, ambitious, courageous, seductive, moody, and intense people - simply a force to be reckoned with. Enzo demonstrated many of these qualities himself, and he and the Tigers would complement and motivate each other to be better, stronger, faster.

Rabbits are one of the more social and sympathetic Chinese Zodiac signs out there. They love being surrounded by their family and friends. They're popular, compassionate, sincere, and can be sometimes seen as pushovers. They're charming and good at making friends but they can quickly turn around and become moody, even slightly dangerous. Tyler was good with the ladies but he had a darker side to him which he demonstrated multiple times after his transition to a werewolf. That made it difficult to get along with him on occasion but he did care about his friends even when he didn't always have the best way of showing it.

Elena's little brother Jeremy would be the perfect soulmate for Horses. Just like people born in this sign, Jeremy didn't like to be tied by the expectations of others. Horses can be drifters who like to go from place to place and Jeremy also didn't stay in his hometown of Mystic Falls in the end. Another similarity he shares with Horses is his self-reliance and the fact Jeremy enjoys love and being in relationships with others. Unfortunately for him, his romances didn't usually end on the best of terms, to put it mildly.
