AND THE LATEST REMAKE IS……’THE FUGITIVE’ – HorrorCultFilms

And so another action classic is going to get the reboot treatment in fact its getting two.

What I didnt know was that Warner Bros. first announced plans to remake The Fugitive back in 2009, but nothing happened then. Albert Hughes [last years highly underrated Alpha, From Hell, Menace II Society] is going to direct this new attempt, while Brian Tucker [Broken City] has written a script. This will be a new spin on the 1993 movie. Few of us probably want this, but its probably going to happen anyway. We dont have a star yet.

And the news broke earlier this year that a remake was being done for upcoming streaming service Quibi, starring Kiefer Sutherland as, says the synopsis:

A legendary detective named Clay Bryce who has been tasked with hunting down Mike Ferro [Boyd Holbrook], a young man who has been wrongfully accused of bombing an LA subway train.

Im so excited not.

I'm a huge film fan and will watch pretty much any type of film, from Martial Arts to Westerns, from Romances [though I don't really like Romcoms!]] to Historical Epics. Though I most certainly 'have a life', I tend to go to the cinema twice a week! However, ever since I was a kid, sneaking downstairs when my parents had gone to bed to watch old Universal and Hammer horror movies, I've always been especially fascinated by horror, and though I enjoy all types of horror films, those Golden Oldies with people like Boris Karloff and Christopher Lee probably remain my favourites. That's not to say I don't enjoy a bit of blood and gore every now and again though, and am also a huge fan of Italian horror, I just love the style.
