What we do in the shadows is a very popular light horror-comedy series which is very appreciated by the viewers. During the first season, the series was renewed for a second season, and then in May 2020, it has renewed for a 3rd season which is very elated news for the fans of the series.What we do in the shadows is an American mockumentary comedy horror film based on the film of the same name of the year 2014. The first season premiered on 27th March 2019 on FX, then the second on 15th April 2020 containing 10 episodes. The series is created by Jemaine Clement.

The story of the series is really funny and interesting and is about three traditional vampires and one energy vampire who live in Staten Island and their interactions with the modern world and supernatural things. Kayvan Novak plays the role of Nandor and Matt berry and Nafasia Demetriou play as Laszlo and Nadja respectively. Mark Proksch is seen as Colin Robinson the energy vampire.Nandor is the self-proclaimed leader of the vampire group who was once a bloodthirsty vampire and can transform himself into a dog and bat. Laszlo is an English man who has been turned into a vampire by Nadja and is married to her.

He unwillingly accepts the leadership of Nandor and enjoys music a lot. He can transform himself into a bat by calling bat.Nadja is a Romani vampire who has a unique ability to turn herself into a swarm of rats. Colin Robinson is an energy vampire who works in a office and lives in the basement. He is not affected by sunshine and doesnt show any signs of vampire. He lives by draining humans and vampires by their energies by being boring.All the characters play their roles as vampires very perfectly and provide the viewers with a very reason to demand one more episode after an episode. The series has very nice feedbacks from the fans and a green signal from critics. The series has got Prime times creative Arts Emmy Awards two times for the year 2019 and 2020.
