In the new horror film Les Affams, a remote village in Quebec is terrorized by a plague of zombie-like creatures. The cast of characters includesa well-to-do woman; a young farm boy who has killed his parents; a strangely silent hipster (Monia Chokri) with a suspicious wound that just wont heal; and the presumptive hero, Bonin (Marc-Andr Grondin), who has acclimatized to the apocalypse very quickly and may be the only one with a belief in a future.

Les Affams is written and directed by Montreal-based filmmaker Robin Aubert, whose previous credits include 2005s Saint Martyrs of the Damned and 2010s Crying Out.

Les Affamswill receive its world premiere at this years Toronto International Film Festival, which runs Sept. 7-17. More details about movie at TIFF can be found here at the festivals official site. It has also been announced the film will be playing at Fantastic Festin Austin, TX., and at this years Sitges Film Festival in Spain.
