YWCA prepares for 2nd annual zombie run – KFYR-TV

MINOT, N.D. - Do you think you can survive the second annual Minot Zombie Run or will you be eaten?

Next Saturday, from 4:30 to 8:30, there will be vendors, food trucks, organization booths and a free photo-booth. All participants must be registered by 5:30 on the day of the race.

The race is simple.

Zombies will be chasing the runners throughout Oak Park trying to steal the runner's flags.

If you make it through the whole run with at least one flag left, you will have survived.

If you lose all your flags to the zombies, you've been infected.

"This is important of us because we want to raise money for the women and children's homeless shelter and we wanted to do a fun event for the Minot community where everyone could enjoy themselves," said YWCA Executive Director Lauren Moore.

All participants that register before September 14th will be entered to win a Zombie Survival Kit. The kit will increase your chances of surviving the race.

Prices are $30 for runners, $25 for runners under 12, $35 for runners day of race and $30 for zombies.
