DAY6 depict the harsh realities of life in Zombie MV

On May 11th, DAY6 made their comeback with title track Zombie and their sixth mini album The Book of Us: The Demon. It is a continuation of The Book of Us trilogy that they started last year with The Book of Us: Gravity and subsequently followed up with The Book of Us: Entropy. Check out the MV below!

The MV and song are highly relevant to the situation that the world is in right now with the COVID-19 pandemic. It talks about how everyday feels like the same routine with not much variety or excitement in life anymore. Similarly, the MV depicts a man going to work at his 9-5 job and feeling discontent with his life by the time he gets back home. Even without the pandemic, it can be relatable to people who feel like the world is passing by although everyday merely passes by in the same manner.

Matching the somber tone of the song, the colours are quite dark. There is definitely a melancholic air around the whole song. Nevertheless, the members shine with their stellar vocals and visuals.

JYP Entertainment released a statement saying that DAY6 would not be actively promoting for this comeback because some of the members are suffering from anxiety. They are prioritising their health and thus do not have any schedules at the moment.
