Kingdom Season 3: The Zombie Drama Is Returning In 2021 – The Buzz Paper

Kingdom,the Korean horror political drama series. It is undoubtedly the best Korean series on Netflix. Interestingly being the first Korean series on Netflix, Kingdom has managed to build quite a large fan base. Since its release in 2019, it has become the most popular non-English title series on Netflix. This popularity only strengthens our hope for future seasons. So will there be future seasons of the show?

Unfortunately, the show hasnt yet been renewed for the third season. However, we are more than sure that the third season is definitely going to happen. Moreover, Kim Eun Hee, the writer of the show also gives hopeful comments on the renewal possibilities. To be precise, when enquired about the future of the show, Kim said that she would be happy to write more than 10 seasons of the show if the audience allows it.

Well, I guess there should be no shortage of content to work with on the show. Now the only requirement is a green light from Netflix. We all know Netflix green lights everything thats popular, so Kingdoms stands a great chance. We might get to hear about the official renewal updates by the end of this month.

Well, even if the show renewed this month, the production is not going to start any soon. It will be more or less the pandemics fault. We assume that the production would start by late 2020 and thus, the release date would be set sometime in late 2021. However, it cannot be confirmed yet, at least not until Netflix renews the show. It could face even further delay and be set around Spring 2022.
