Pierceton Man Allegedly Called Wife A Zombie Before Stabbing Her In The Face – Times-Union Newspaper

A Pierceton man is facing charges after allegedly telling his wife shes a zombie then stabbing her in the face.Richard Lee Clutter, 45, of 104 E. Church St., Pierceton, was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail at 1:59 a.m. March 5 and faces charges for domestic battery while armed with a deadly weapon, a Level 5 felony; and domestic battery, a Class A misdemeanor. According to the probable cause affidavit filed Tuesday in Kosciusko Superior Court III, on March 5 Kosciusko County Sheriff deputies responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at the home. Upon arrival, police spoke with the female victim who said she and Clutter had been arguing and that Clutter stated he was going to kill himself with a shotgun. The woman then told police that Clutter went into the spare bedroom and closed the door behind him. When the woman opened the door to check on Clutter, according to court papers, Clutter told her she was a zombie and then he stabbed her in the face below the eye with a knife.When police spoke with Clutter, according to the affidavit, he admitted to barricading himself in the bedroom and that the couple had been arguing about females at the bar.Clutters bond was set at $5,250. Hes due in court at 1 p.m. today.

Woman Facing Domestic Battery ChargesA Warsaw woman is facing charges after she allegedly pushed her ex-husband down a flight of stairs during an argument about a haircut. Nicole Kristen Davis, 31, of 125 Rattington Circle, Warsaw, was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail at 9:14 p.m. March 8 and faces charges for domestic battery with a child under 16 present, a Level 6 felony; and domestic battery, a Class A misdemeanor.According to the probable cause affidavit filed Tuesday in Kosciusko Superior Court III, on March 8 Warsaw police responded to Davis residence, where she said her ex-husband came to the home to drop off their three children and that one of the children got a haircut while with the father. The argument occurred at the top of a stairway, and according to court papers, Davis said she became angry and pushed her ex-husband down the stairs. He told police he was not injured. Four children were present at the time of this altercation, according to court papers. Davis bond was set at $6,000.
