Prasanth Varma reveals the title of his third film – Zombie Reddy – Times of India

After Awe and Kalki, director Prasanth Varma is back with his third film that he has now titled Zombie Reddy. This time will entertain the hell out of you guys! (sic) he wrote, sharing the title announcement and first-look poster of his upcoming film. The animated poster of the film begins with the peaceful sight of a full moon and a temple in close-up. However it soon turns violent and creepy as the camera zooms out to show bats screaming, a tomb breaks into pieces to form the title and finally, a hand comes out of the grave to grab it, even as the full moon transitions into a blood moon. The background score by Mark K Robin adds to the vibe of it all. But while it looks like a usual zombie fare so far, the film also seems to hint theres a link between coronavirus and these zombies. Filming is almost wrapped up for Zombie Reddy, which is slated to hit theatres whenever they reopen. Prasanth Varma is also one of the few directors who got back to shoot after the government had given permission for the same. Despite the limited crew and difficult shooting conditions, the director seems to have made progress. Zombie Reddy is a high-concept film that Im sure will be loved by any movie buff, says the director. The cast of the film is still being kept under wraps but behind-the-scenes footage of the team shooting for it shows that Harshavardhan of Amrutham fame is on-board. Further details are awaited.
