This weekend, Metallica, Slipknot, Rob Zombie, FEVER 333, Lamb Of God, Code Orange and loads of other cowabunga bands will be hitting Daytona Beach in Florida for Welcome To Rockville. If youre not in Florida, youre probably veryjealous.

Well, the nice people at festival promoters Danny Wimmer Presents have decided to take out rather alot of the sting by streaming aload of the sets online via their Twitch channel. Not only that, but during the stream the headliners of next years event will berevealed.

One element the stream will highlight is the festivals Twitch stage, through which newer bands can have achance to reach abigger audience. Over the past few months, this has been akey feature of their Twitch channel, with one lucky band rewarded with agig on the festivals MainStage.

Twitch has provided us with aunique platform to not only have unprecedented daily engagement with our fans but to also discover and interact with the bands of the future, says promoter Danny Wimmer. The new Twitch Stage is going to give us the opportunity to showcase some of the amazing new artists we have found on theplatform.
