"Isolation" is a YouTube series filmed in Anderson County that focuses on a group of survivors traversing a post-apocalyptic zombie-filled world. Written, directed, and edited by Isaac Stovall, the series has grown from a four-member cast to over 300 cast members and extras over the course of four years. In 2016, we had like four people that were in the show and we didnt really know what we were doing, said Stovall. That was our learning time. Now in 2020 we have a huge cast of people and extras, and this is all volunteer actors.The show is cast, filmed, edited and produced in Anderson County. Depicting gun battles, zombie ambushes, car chases, and more, the series has garnered hundreds of views on YouTube. Recently, the show hosted a premiere party for the first half of its third season. Filming for the season's second half is currently underway on a farm property in Pendleton. We should be done filming the second half of the season by April, said Stovall.
