Taking his cue from 1970s horror classics Rob Zombies House of 1000 Corpses centers on a group of teens who pull into Captain Spauldings museum of oddities only to become obsessed with the mystery of a legendary local maniac known as Dr. Satan. When an attractive and mysterious hitchhiker offers to give them a personal tour of Dr. Satans old stabbing grounds, a breakdown forces them to take refuge with a group of menacing oddballs as a fearsome storm rages outside. As the evening progresses and the backwoods hosts Halloween festivities become ever more threatening, the teens soon realize that the legend of Dr. Satan may hold a bit more contemporary weight than any of them had previously thought.

Rated R for strong sadistic violence/gore, sexuality and language, the film sports a 20% approval rating over on Rotten Tomatoes with a Critics Consensus that reads: Theres an abundance of gore in this derivative horror movie, but little sense or wit.
